Jax Post Community Outreach

SAME supports the MFK program on a quarterly basis. SAME's volunteers will spend a Friday night with +60 kids, grades 7-12. MFK 2016-2017 STEM focus is on engineering and math relationships. Kids are given a STEM related activity and volunteers work with individuals and teams of up to 10 kids to coach them through concepts in math and engineering. MFK is a very rewarding program to volunteer for and there's always a need for volunteers. Next opportunities will be December 2nd and February 3rd.

For more information on how to get involved in this great program, contact Lisa Labs at:

More Volunteer Opportunties

The Jacksonville Post is looking for some volunteers to present interesting engineering/construction projects to the UNF Student Chapter at upcoming monthly student chapter meetings. Also, we are looking for current local construction projects for student site visits and if we can tie a presentation to a site visit for a monthly meeting, even better.

If you are interested in either presenting, conducting a site tour or both or know someone perfect for this opportunity please contact:

Luncheon Survey Results

Thank you to all that took the time to complete our luncheon survey. We strive to make our monthly meetings as pleasurable as possible and this survey has given us some insight into what our membership and guests currently enjoy and do not enjoy. We are working through the results and will be providing some feedback in the near future. Please watch for our announcement of our survey results.
