May Luncheon: I-95 Express: Design Innovations and Public Controversy

Our next luncheon will feature Keith Bogart, PE of RS&H, who will discuss the design innovations that were developed for the I-95 Express project and how public opinion was turned during the PD&E phase in regards to express lanes and right-of-way impacts. Design innovations include a diverging diamond interchange at Emerson St and a quadrant intersection at University Blvd. Also discussed will be the approach to public involvement when installing express lanes on an aging urban interstate in the heart of a city where right-of-way is limited.
