UNF Student Chapter NAS Jax Site Visit
On March 4, 2016 members of the UNF Student Chapter, including chapter President Denver Singletary and Treasurer Matt Woolwine, attended a site visit to NAS Airfield Project. NAVFAC SE hosted a group of 5 UNF engineering students for a tour of the airfield construction project.
The project had been briefed by Jeffrey Frank, P.E. from NAVFAC SE at a student luncheon in October 2015. LT Jamie Wallace from NAVFAC SE and Douglas Cox from Archer Western sub, The Walsh Group, coordinated and lead the site tour. Thanks to Scott Hurst for helping set -up this experience for the students!

Engineering & Construction Camp – Call For Mentors
SAME’s Engineering & Construction camp program runs on the experience and talents of the staff, cadets, college students (former campers) and mentors that come from our many SAME Posts. The critical roles (Mentors, Flight Commanders, Loggies) that need to be filled. This is a great opportunity for your Members to have hands-on experience and influence the future engineers.
