Vice Admiral Mary Jackson, USN, (Ret) "Reflections on Leading Navy Installations Command"

The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Jacksonville Post, in conjunction with National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) First Coast, Women in Defense (WID) First Coast and National Contract Management Association (NCMA), are honored to announce Vice Admiral, US Navy (Ret) Mary Jackson as our annual Leadership Series speaker, in January.  Vice Admiral Jackson recently retired after an impressive military career serving in her last active duty assignment as the 6th Commander, Navy Installations Command where she led the Navy’s shore enterprise comprised of more than 53,000 personnel at 10 Navy Regions and 71 installations around the world.

This will be a hybrid event offering in person attendance as well as being live streamed via Zoom. COVID protocols will be incorporated with great measure.

Vice Admiral Jackson was the inaugural speaker for this Leadership Series, in 2017, when she presented “Perspectives on Leading Navy Region Southeast” in her capacity as Commander. This event is a great platform for launching a robust and resilient 2021 as our community employs best practices to recover from and continue to respond to COVID 19 implications.  Those planning to attend in person will be subject to social distancing and other required practices to ensure a safe and inspiring leadership and networking experience.
